Pedagogical Activities
Teaching responsibilities
As a PhD student I was teaching assistant (1969-1975) in laboratory courses in inorganic chemistry. This was going on full time for one semester each year.
During the period of 1976-1985 I gave short courses (30-40h/year) in high resolution electron microscopy for last year undergraduate students and PhD students.
From 1986 to 1994 I gave lectures (>100 students) and class room lessons (30 students) in basic solid state chemistry (for second year students) for 75 h/year.
I have been teaching (lectures and group seminars) in advanced solid state chemistry with high resolution electron microscopy and analytical electron microscopy (40h/year) for the last year students since 1986.
I have been given courses in high resolution elctron microscopy for PhD students several times since 1980.

PhD examinations under my supervision:
YearNamePresent position
1987 Reine Wallenberg Professor LTH
1991 Jan-Olle Malm Professor and Publisher
1994 Viveka Alfredsson University lecturer
1997 Anna Carlsson Product specialist FEI Company, Holland
1998 Daniel Klint Specialist at Alfa Laval, Lund

Textbooks
I have written a textbook (in swedish) in basic solid state chemistry before used in the second year course mentioned above. For courses at PhD level and for last year students I have written a compendium in high resolution electron microscopy.

Video productions
I have produced a video program for basic information about HRTEM.

Educational administrations
I have adminstrated and planned the basic course in solid state chemistry each year 1986-1994. I have been member of the bord for PhD education at the Chemical Center for three years from the 1st of November 1987. I was member of the board of technical education in chemistry, at the Technical Faculty, Lund University from 1996 to 1999.
